You haven’t heard from me in a while. I got a lot of questions regarding the Bmw 4 series Grand Coupe. And since this was also one of my favorite experiences, here’s a new post about it ! A week ago I went to the Bmw dealership Nobracars to pick up this beast! Robbert my contact person at Nobracars dealership took me outside to introduce me to the car. First word was woow! I was actually blown away once I saw this car in front of me, it really is masculine. (M power package). Even better! First things first was having a chat together with Robbert inside the car about all the features that this car has to offer ( Which will be to many to name) As you might have noticed already: I’m a complete car-addict
I took the car on a road trip to really feel and experience it with all its features and of course power! My first stop was in Antwerp as I had some really nice locations in mind to shoot some content. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t with me at the time. First impression of this car whilst driving to Antwerp: amazing! I discovered why they called this model the Grand coupe, it is a 5 doors car but it feels like you are driving a sports car. It has this smooth aerodynamic and luxurious expression.
Details about his car
It is full options and has many cool features, I will name some of my favorites as there are too many in this car.
- The 19 inch rims
- LED light package
- Panoramic sunroof
- BMW Head-Up Display
- Hifi System
- ConnectedDrive Services included BMW Online
- Lane Change Warning
After spending the day in Antwerp I went to Dusseldorf as this is one of my favorite cities in Europe. It has many things to offer such as nice restaurants, awesome locations to shoot and a great city Centre. After spending some driver hours in this car I came to the conclusion that this car never gets boring. This car works with a BMW Efficient Dynamics. This allows you to choose from several ways to drive:
Comfort ( which is the usual way to drive)
Eco pro ( Perfect to drive more efficient as the car will safe fuel. Perfect for driving in traffic jams or cities)
Sport mode (More aggressive acceleration and you can use the flippers behind the steering wheel)
After approaching the German autobahn it was time to release the beast (in proportions of course as I was not in the mood for tickets) I switched from the automatic gear to manual gear with the flippers on the steering wheel. (Sport mode) This was absolutely amazing it is impressive how fast this car reacts, it is very easy to control the car on high speeds. It sometimes feels that this car is driving on rails. After arriving in Dusseldorf I found this location at the Hyatt Hotel which is located in the industrial/harbor part of the city. This was perfect as I wanted to take drone videos and shots with my DJI Inspire V2. The weather wasn’t with us (To much wind), so I decided to switch to my Canon camera to make shots. So you could tell I was not loving this start of the day with the drone, but don’t worry I got something else for you in this blogpost.
The thing that I also really admire in this car is the Bmw connected drive system it has so much to offer. It is basically you’re mobile office. It is connected to your phone and enables you to read your daily emails, apps etc. It even has a WIKI app which allows you to see a list of cultural things to do (depending on the current location). Restaurants/hotels/bars in it as well. The entertainment system is to control by touchscreen or the classic idrive button. The other great innovating thing is that the car offers several driving profiles, think about an individual configuration of your car settings. The seat position, the interior lights, entertainment system you can all customize this to your own preferences. Bmw also introduced a Spotify integration system which gives a better experience to listen to your personal playlists on Spotify! Yaaay no more IPhone cables! Using the 4-series’ you simply use the iDrive controller to bring up the Connected Drive menu and you will see the Spotify logo coming up with available apps.
You can find all information about the car here.
And now enjoy the photos of my days. Hope you like them.
